The program ‘s mission is geared towards helping the teens develop self-confidence, self-esteem and skills much needed for the teens to succeed in their school life. The program is expected to help the students forge links to their career growth while taking full advantage of learning opportunities FAFU is providing for the mentorship activities.
The activities are school holiday based and specifically involve students who have graduated from FAFU primary school and are now in high school. It is holiday based program that allows all FAFU teens in high school participate in the program while on school vacations (during April, August and November/December).
The Program revolves around four broad areas:
- Career oriented activities
- Life skill based activities
- Leadership Development activities
- Recreational activities
