FAFU intends to build the capacity of childcare providers in the slum by providing the necessary skills, attitude, and knowledge to those working with slum children. Also targeting other stakeholders, FAFU will develop relevant education and training programs on issues relating to children’s matter whose content also includes child rights charter:
• The African charter on the rights and welfare of the child
• The UN convention of the rights of the child.
• ILO convention 182 on the worst forms of child labour
• Relevant legislation on child issues in Kenya
